Mistakism the killer of A.I and popular image based culture

Writer and Director/Miami-based artist and filmmaker Harmony Korine, A lover of slapstick and vaudeville, he coined the term “mistakism” to describe his deployment of wayward aesthetics and non sequitur wit.

This could be one of the biggest influences of my life in watching Harmony Korines movies and following the train wreck of his career that had many bumps and bruises along the way.

Now Mistakism, made sense to my counter productive mindset in university as I watched the machine like programme of art and modernity get shoved into the minds like a good propoganda movie. Any straying from accepted norms of art were hated unless it involved hyper stylised voilence framed by cultural markers and signifiers. Which is summed up as basicl visual tokenism. And the other applied arts where you were imbued that to become a skilled artisan in a digital realm. You would struggled to make a name in a craft based area that might take 30 years of your life to get close to being a great etching printer, fashion designer, sculptor or painter. Now minor art history of 2000 to 2020's is over.

MISTAKISM.

Baasically a piss take of everything that tries to fit into accepted moulds, even the gentrified outsider art, tattoo art or even game art.

REJECTED.

Its about making mistakes that A.I can not make.

Non sequiter wit. Well... That is kind of a meme cultural anomaly now so yeh do what you want with that part of Harmony Korines-ISM.

But for the most part its a great way forwards in the arts. To really make things with as many mistakes in them as possible. Like it needs to become a fore-running art form in which will almost destroy A.i which is a political platform for government pundits in the corporate world that basically shape creativity of all ting via a free programme where the data entry generation has been sucked into trialing its limited parameters.

The inspiration behind the mistakism was a friend who wrote a book on the most dispirate subjects of dreams and occult matters and put it into A.I to rewrite. A.I admitted it couldn't do it. So when people say its taking over peoples jobs. Its basically taking over NPC jobs and NPC people. People who listen and play the exact standards of music, art and writing that have been consecrated as acceptable in the last 20 years. This is where we are at. A new form of Digital Fascism where a clear division is where people are controlled by the devices they use and do not use them as creative tools to push the boundaries of life, art, music and writing. Why? Because they are afraid of people finding out that a pencil is still the fastest machine on the face of the earth.

Anyway I digress. Make sure you make as many mistakes and do not join anything that claims to be mistakism. Becuase you just killed it by joining it and consecrating it into the A.I machine.
