Simple explanation.

Corporations have more power and technological control over the masses than any other time preceding the invention of the printing press and the ensuing reformation.

Governments are now Corporatocracies.

Yet the power within the Corporations rely on a manipulation of the masses via programmed internet manipulation and catastrophic events.

The Government still has to maintain a belief system like any good marketing Brand manager would tell you.

There seems to be a rift building between the Corporate and Govt. Wait for the great internet slowdowns, outages and problematic events that may appear.
