Two pertinent questions about A.I that no one asks.
Why doesn't the A.I replace politicians?
Why do we need CEO's of corporations?
as A.I can make heartless decisions better than the elites who need to have threat of death or release of video of them in immoral behaviours to do their job?
So I postulate that A.i becomes the new NPC's God. As the NPC's pathetic existence keeps the trains on time, Hollywood formula of entertainment and spiritual enlightenment answers to those sticky questions of existence. We now see the rise of the new man from the Chimera infused injectables that either placebo or actual experiment. We live in the fakest times where I propose most will drop dead if the computer or phone can't tell a person how to undo a bread-tie on a loaf of bread.

The point being. Our collective existence in a human existence of modern post mortem Modernity. Is now a tinderbox for the meaninglessness that ensues a destruction of a functional religion. The modular tools of religion creating a cultural set of moralities and rules using artificial often invisible tools such as a God or something hidden in the capstone of the unreachable part of the temple, pyramid whatever. They use the imaginations of mans machinations to give rationality to his animalistic ways.
Fucking to keep the species running was renamed Procreation in line with the Creation myth. Soon it will be called something else that mythologises the a.i machine. Another quote (I can't be fucked referencing) is that 'if you replace religion you better replace it with something pretty good.' Now I also speculate heavily that it is the easiest time to actually make something ridiculous seem real.
People are that gullible en masse that there is no reason 'they' ('they' being the ones that own everything) have been softening up the populace for about 2000 years. Various brands of religion, franchising and eventual Leisure and safety. 'They' Knowing that there is no external god force just a set of rules on the planetary system. An old system that they stole from Egyptians who stole if from the Byzantines and they stole it whomever? Basically its a saturnian Cronos' of strict structures built over time. This enables the larger societies to rise and then fall. Its only when the irrationality of meme's and tropes begin to set a wild force of 52% of the global population into believing the rumours. Then society falls as it has done from the inception of large cityscape top down control structures. Complacency is the killer when homogenised homo-sapiens give into the absolute structure then there is no division to keep its balance.
Now as we face the actual 'They' did it, moment sometime in 2024 where the story arc has to be changed as the NPC's are accepting the immorality and corruption as normal. Which disempowers the 'They' A.i by proxy. Even the pronoun war of obfuscation and the non violent confusion of political / sexual identity has reached its point of disempowering through absolute acceptance of the NPC mass effect, that we are in the capitulation moment.
Its how anyone reacts to this composite alchemical change is how the future will be measured. The fact that people are not reacting means that the A.i thing will have to do all the work of creating a whole new meaning system that will make Stalin, Hitler and Pol pot blush.
